Liposuction

Liposuction is a surgical procedure used to treat isolated pockets of unwanted fatty tissue and should be thought of as a sculpting procedure and not as a procedure for fat removal or weight loss. Liposuction requires the use of very small incisions, through which a small cannula is used to harvest the fat. For eliminating abdomen pooches, back bulges or fat on the inner thighs that just won’t go away, liposuction can be highly effective at slimming and reshaping many areas of the body while improving overall contours.

How Does It Work?

During the procedure, we use a cannula (tiny hollow tube) inserted through various small incisions, gently removing the fatty tissue in the targeted area between the skin and deeper muscle layer. Once the fatty tissue is removed, liposuction relies on the overlying skin to redrape over the area.
